On the 16th Albidon was delisted by the AIM exchange for having been suspended too long. No news item was forthcoming from the company, no explanation to the UK shareholders. Some UK holders have contacted the company & it seems they are undecided as to whether to relist on the AIM, and that any relisting on either exchange may not occur until Q1! Yet it was only a week ago we were officially imformed that they would be applying to relist on both AIM & ASX.
UK holders are angry, this is the final straw after the way this company has been run into the ground over the past year. Why should the UK holders have to carry the can for this incompetence? Many holders have stock in an ISA which offers tax-shelter status - any AIM delisting would negate this. Also, any AIM delisting will lead to massive selling of the UK positions, battering the price on the ASX upon a relisting there.
I see that no news has been put out by the company re. the AIM delisting, so assume that our Aussie friends are in the dark about this development. Will the Aussie investors stand with the UK shareholders & complain to the company about their shabby treatment of us shareholders, requesting that they relist on BOTH exchanges & asap?
