Re the shorts 116m borrowed out of 3.5 billion shares on issue - have you considered a decent whack of those 116 million would be hedges against long portfolios ?

I've mentioned this multiple times. ~96million was shorted ~ the day we entered the ASX200/300, so in my view it's definitely hedging by Index followers

Nothing to see here, and I don't really know why people keep going on about it, but at least it's better than reading the goldfish bowl comments coming out of the toilet
