Paddy Thompson is a Chartered Accountant and Corporate Financier, specialised in the field of energy and environment since 2005. His first involvement with fuel cells was in 2006 when he created a financial model of a utility scale virtual power plant based on distributed fuel cell technology using a smart grid approach. Since joining CFCL in 2009 he has been responsible for the UK market, achieving major advances in formal product recognition and accreditation, policy support, market development and product application. He is now responsible for the creation of MW scale smart grid projects both in the UK and overseas.
