Fast Internet potential savings per household of up to $3,800 per year by 2020.

At 12 million households, that is a potential total savings of up to $45 billion.

When I get a chance I will take a closer look at the report to see what savings they are talking about and how they are achieved.

On the surface of it, it certainly strengthens the case for the NBN.
