Someone having a significant holding that they want to sell. Equally importantly the order disappeared through buyers taking out the stock rather than the order being bounced around just out of market. The buy quote is now 45c although this may still show as a last sale of 44.5c when posted. Edit - hadn't seen your 2nd post when I wrote this.
