$KGN/Kogan.Com is moving on the Australian air purifier market.
The aggressive on-line marketer today unveiled a double-barrelled strategy - the release of two HEPA devices that feature "smart" attributes.
The first device is branded Kogan SmarterHome Smart Air Purifier 2S.
Kogan says the unit works with the Google Assistant and Alexa. The cylindrical device can operate in "Silent Sleep Mode", has "Touch Controls" and is claimed to clean 130 cubic metres an hour.
Launch price is $99.99. This price is flagged to double to a post-promotion tag of $199.99.
The group is also selling a rectangular SmartHome purifier at the "presale" price of $189.99.
Kogan has yet to publicly identify its purifier OEM supplier nor the manufacturer's domicile.
Kogan's purifier attack will, of course, have implications for PuriflOH and the OEM(s) it is currently negotiating with.
We may learn more when the PO3 posts its quarterly report this Thursday or Friday.
