Hi All,
In the last few presentations Tim has remarked that consolidation in the sector is unavoidable and they are also running their ruler over options. He seems to be onto something given the private equity bid for Tronox a couple of weeks ago. I guess it’s hardly surprising as mineral sands companies look very cheap in a tight product market.
If Base pursues M&A over the next 6 months, any thoughts on who they would target? Image would be a good bite sized chunk and STA has some synergies with the Australian and Tanzanian assets. I’ll admit to holding both so I could be biased … Any other thoughts?
