Along these lines, J B Straubel (co-originator of Tesla), is perfecting the recycling of batteries........getting ready for the future onslaught of "retired" EV's. By reusing the minerals in the batteries ( making battery manufacturing as close to closed loop as possible), Redwood plans on cutting the price of Lithium ion batteries by magnitudes of value.
