    Did some more thinking over the weekend - seems to me the best comparison industry to TFC is not commodity based businesses but rather alcohol based companies i.e. major wine producers.

    Many parallels

    a. Long gestation period for start ups
    b. discretionary but assured demand
    c. primary industry COBS and risks
    d. some medicinal uses
    e. end to end marketing systems
    f. human expertise needed and somewhat labour intensive
    g. Wide margins and assured purchase price


    All IMO and DYOR of course
