Demerger process, page-5

Thanks for the update, with ALK/ASM. I only went back a year from that May 20 date when they announced their intention to demerge. So although they may have floated the idea, I don't think they actually started the process till May. I did read they had their own GM for ASM, it was run separately, however it is not unusual to run subsidiaries of companies that way. I agree, I can see ours taking around 6 months depending on what sort of deal they get from the data room.

I noticed in the recent Proactive interview with Doc, he comments with regard to stepping back from running FFX how he loves doing deals, the strategic stuff rather than the detail. As he's overseeing the demerger, I can't help but think there is enough interest in the data room to do a deal. Otherwise why would he step back, appoint Doc Mike & say that.
