demerger question/s...

Are any shareholders anticipating that the share price will fall significantly once the gold assets are demerged? And does, anybody want to take a guess as to what the market will value the 'mineral sands' project at alone?

Thinking of buying, but not sure about how far MDL will drop in SP when gold assets are demerged, and not confident about holding shares in a foreign exchange re liquidity issues (if needed). Some people are probably laughing, but I prefer to stick with ASX stocks only.

Last question (sorry for my ignorance) but supposing the gold company does list on the ASX at a later date, does one pay stamp duty/taxes to transfer a holding in a foreign company to an ASX equivalent and/or is the exchange rate a factor to consider as well?
