    Blog, Pachino et al,
I have no doubt at all about the quality of the current resource, and even more so it's geological & economic potential.
Messrs Burgess and Norman have put that beyond reasonable doubt IMO.
The significance of the LIS should not be underestimated either.
However as mentioned previously, I believe that there are deep rooted corporate issues that need to be resolved before we become a producer of the yellow stuff. I am sticking around for the rest of this story because we are nowhere near the last chapter IMHO.

I also get the feeling that Porgera and Mt.Kare will all be under the same roof at some point. Assuming Barrick were willing to sell Porgera for say $100mil or less, it would be an economic no brainer for anyone who had access to the money and had the balls, experience & nouse to resolve the social issues at Porgera using the so called 'Melanesian approach'.

Assuming they created a new company out of Porgera which was then dual listed on the TSX and ASX at eg. 300,000,000 shares x 50c share, they could then offer IDC shareholders say 1 new share for every 10 IDC shares held. Massive gains and the creation of a golden powerhouse would result for all shareholders IMO by using Porgera's infrastructure and workforce for the two projects IMO.

Note: my opinion should not be relied upon nor considered as advice of any kind. Please DYOR.
