Mom and Pop? No. Market maker's master plan? Yes. There aren't enough real human investors in FBR insofar as Chart theories based on trading emotion have any application. However, if you wish to watch a chart run by algorithms and Market Maker traders making trades based on chart theory, using chart theory to predict their trades as those trades affect the share price, becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
