Q. We do live in a Democracy,..don't we?
A. Well, ..it depends what you mean by 'Democracy'
Q. A system where all people can vote against new government ideas,..
like sending our troops to fight in foreign countries, without solid justification?,
or a fairer judicial system for example? ..or pay increases for politicians?
A. Not really! There are laws in place to prevent this.
Q. How do these laws get passed?
A. They get written in 'Legalize', which is similar to Martian/Latin to 'Joe-on-the-street',
then normally passed at obscure times, like last-sittings, etc.
Q. But we can change these laws, can't we.....?
A. Not really, there are other laws in place to protect these laws.
Q. But how did ?.....never mind!
So why do we have a legal 'fortress' system?
A. It protects the governments 'Money-Making' machine, who's job it is to relieve
you, (legally, of course), of as much of your hard-earned income as possible.
Q. But we can change that,... can't we??.....
I mean, we do live in a democracy,.......
