"An innocent man should have nothing to hide"

Probably one of the most clueless, ill-informed statements I have read on these forums. Do yourself a favour and do some research. I will give you TWO people to google, one being a topical subject in Carter Page and the other being Richard Jewell. Both were railroaded and had their lives destroyed by the state.

Total BS! There is no way in the world any sane person would comply.

There is no way you would participate in a process that allows your prosecutor to call 3 "experts" to testify against you but restricts you to 1.

The reality of your bs is that the president actually has privileges and there is a reason why there are 3 branches of government - legislative, Executive and Judicial. The courts are there for this very reason and the Democrats and Trump, just as the constitution is meant to do, can and should solve any differences through the courts. It is the very reason why there is a separation of powers.

Again, don't bush#t me and tell me you would comply with something that allows the prosecution to call 3 to your 1 to testify against you and then bs me by saying "an innocent man should have nothing to hide". And you would scream blue murder if depositions behind closed doors were leaked to the media ommitting evidence that helped your innocence. You sudden "an innocent man should have nothing to hide" would change quick smart to "an innocent man should not be allowed to be railroaded"
