there's not a single piece of US government that is NOT in need of serious reform
the SCOTUS needs:
1. a mandatory retirement age
2. term limits
3. independent appointments
the US would do well to copy Australia's (or US or Canada's) model for judicial appointents
notice that no one talks about the "partisanship" of Australia's High Court
