Can they PROVE the geothermal plant is the cause. Dubious when nothing has been said about any downhole work such as fracking or borehole stimulation has been carried out. Every chance the micro seismic events are just natural anyway.
In any case the good burghers of Insheim or Palintate may have to choose between accepting an occasional rumble in the ground that shakes the ground about as much as a German falling out of thir bed or pay for now the very expensive gas heating (firsthand from family living in Germany) or freeze their backsides off during their winter (which they do not like doing as they have a preference when indoors for dressing lightly and heating their houses well..
