The Insheim plant delivers 65 l/s, farfrom Vulcan's target of 300 l/s (you can read(hear) this everywhere),65 l/s - not even the 80 l/s for which the plant was built. Vulcan isunder extreme pressure to increase the production rate by increasingthe pressure, which increases the risk of earthquakes, Prof.Schilling: higher flow rate = higher water pressure = higher risk ofearthquakes.
The people of the Palatinate mustindeed make a decision - they certainly do not want their houses /homes to be slightly damaged by constantly recurring earthquakes orseverely damaged by a major one.
