I moved out of my old house early in the year. It is a development block (could build 5 units) and hoped to sell it without doing the reno. But nobody is building units now.
I have a "house sitter" in it now while I get it up to scratch to rent. I own it and I'm retired so it is still a viable option. I'm glad I'm not being squeezed. LOL
