Good luck to him if he manages to turn him in favour of the US. BUT, Rodman chose to have news conferences and promote himself as a spokesman for the US. The other players are incredibly stupid and clearly are unaware of the obvious PR storm it would create so close to the murder of his uncle.
I know the majority of Americans don't take him seriously. But, Rodman would have been better served to just forget the news conferences, play his game of basketball and be careful about commenting on his friendship. Surely Rodman would have have been educated a little in PR before going over. Then again, judging on his comments, he clearly didn't get schooled on what to expect from the American media.
