I'm all for sending back any foreign nationals committing serious crimes to their country of origin. But I suspect that this is a beat-up. Just Border Force chief Roman Quaedvlieg trying to sound tough again and then The Age shopped around for quotes of outrage until they got someone to play the race card.
Thank goodness Quaedvlieg isn't wearing his black SS-style Border Force uniform. What were they thinking? With a name like Quaedvlieg he should be dressed as a Roman centurion.
