The world's antimony reserves are 1.87 million tons, but most of them are concentrated in China, Russia and Tajikistan, and 63% of the easily accessible resources have been consumed. The production contraction in Myanmar and South Africa, the two major suppliers, has widened the global antimony concentrate gap to 8,000 tons per month.
