Gerrys modus operandi 1. Find a penny dreadful that has plenty of blue sky potential (ASC, PTD , NRT) 2. Start posting about the huge potential, along with his mates 3. write a few grand posts about the great fundamentals (future profits) 4. Keep inflating future worth to higher and higher figures 5. Hold competitions to guess future share price 6. Defend the stock vigourously and put down any "negative" (realistic) posts) and try to have any dissenters banned from the site (trigger) 7. Once the stock has been puffed up as far as it can go get out quick before the stock plummets back down 8. Stay around to make out he is losing money as well 9. Move onto the next blue sky stock
The sad part is that those who follow on his coat tails have made money. Gerry puts so much effort into his "information" campaigns that the price does start to go up, then there is a snowball effect as his disciples spread the gospel further, in the end everybody actually believes the stock is going to be a huge winner. Quite clever really, but is it legal?
