That's not the point.
Some ride out corrections and feel smug when the market goes to new highs. That is absolute stupidity IMO. It may work 100 times but eventually they will get wiped out by a big one.
Most times I make money out of corrections but I don't care if I lose a bit. Better to lose a little now and then than lose it all one day.
That said, it comes down to knowing when to exit and when to reenter. Without TA I don't know how it can be done.
