So very true, Debono. When my daughter recovers from her irrational moments of life being unbearable, she has explained that the desperation to fix the blackness and hopelessness in her mind completely overrides the reality of family and how badly it would affect our lives.
She explains that it's not that she wants to die, she just wants the torment to stop and the desperation then drives the thoughts the wrong way.
