I think you need to maybe get him to speak to people who have gone through the same things... I used to suffer from depression and was very qualified graduate and found it hard to find a job after GFC... I expected the best job.. I wanted to be the boss... I think the problem with our world is that everyone wants the high paying jobs and expect to get them especially since we go to uni and bust our asses.. Its more got to do with being positive and taking small steps... Is he taking anything else? such as drugs? cause the seem to amplify everything. He also seems he has put alot of expectations on himself to be successful.
