I have been looking around for standard joint venture contracts for some insight into OBL's position re Blackreef's sale of its share of the Derby block.
I'm no legal expert but it sure would be nice if OBL's joint venture agreement with Backreef had something like the right of pre-emption clause contained in AMPLA's exposure draft minerals exploration joint agreement. See section 11.3 http://www.ampla.org/documents/item/125
That would set the cat amongst the pigeons now wouldn't it?
