I'm not surprised by any of this. I bought a really small parcel years ago at just under a dollar hoping to trade on a bounce for fun - which I forgot to do. I only realised I still held some last week when I was doing some housekeeping.
I remember there was an HC poster who really clearly set out his views that the company was dodgy. I posted asking if anyone knew whether there really were any plantations - and nobody answered that. Then I forgot about DFM.
I'd suggest contacting one of the class action lawfirms. Piper Alderman are an excellent firm who have had some success recently. There are several others. Get them and a funder interested. Much easier than paying yourself.
I agree - we should be able to trust audited, listed securities.
