    1 ppb has seemed small to me and Ive just done the maths.

    In one million litres or one megalitre, which is roughly an olympic sized swimming pool (50m x 15m x 1.3m) there would be one millilitre.

    No wonder it would be safe to drink, at 1ppb and drinking 2 litres of contaminated water a day it would take 1,369 years to consume one millilitre.
