I too spoke to Len this afternoon. Whilst i am disappointed with the decision by the QLD government, i believe in time Cougar will prosper. Mentioned today was the fact that we are not in as bad shape as what we were when the plant came to a screaming halt 6 months ago.

I agree with many that emerging markets such as China and India is where the future lies for us. I think possible upcoming deal with China will provide the backing we need to move the Cougar offshore...and forward. This will take time, obviously.

There is some speculation that we may never return from this trading halt. While anything is possible - i think it inevitable we may take another hammering in the short term - I for one will be holding.

Our day in the sun will come! It is just unfortunate that Australian citizens will not benefit directly from a company trying to provide Australians with a cheaper alternate power source.
