Yikes Stykes ... I'm crushed lol ... purile?

Somehow I doubt the KCCG, Qld MPs and DERM oficers would take issue with an obvious spoof on a famous spoofy light hearted movie. On the contrary, I reckon many would have had a chuckle if they'd read it ... Gary Tessaman aside perhaps.

There was more than allegorical meaning or spoofing going on with that post ... I was serious that the Australian Syngas Association has a role to play.

I understand that organisation to be a mixture of surface and underground gasification groups ... and perhaps thats not a useful mix ... I'd really like to see a focussed UCG Syngas Association politicking Qld Liberals (the incoming Qld Govt that is) and issuing media releases and PR material.

The Qld Govt is due to decide its UCG policy late 2011 or early 2012 (someone can perhaps check when).

With the demanding additional environmental information sought from CXY and recently CNX and no doubt LNC when they submit their environmntal effects statement late this week I think (yes the reports for all three were staged), the Qld Govt will have access to considerably more scientific data than they other wise might have had to make the 2011/12 decision ... this drive for more information is no doubt coming from the scientific panel imo.

In view of the above there should almost certainly be basis to bring forward the pending 2011/12 UCG decision ... the Australian Syngas Association or better still a new UCG Syngas Association should be out there lobbying and politicking till they drop imo.
