It will be a very crowded Senate ticket but given a DD you only need a half quota - so I would say he will be a fair chance. The human headline used to have a much higher profile - especially when on radio. Very passionate guy - especially on child abuse and he is not stupid. Given some of the rubbish in the Senate at the moment (on both sides of the divide) he hold his own.
My view is the Liberals have made a huge mistake going the DD, They will probably win the election but the Senate could be even harder to get legislation through. Turnbull might be the smartest guy in the room but I dont think he is the smartest politician in the house(s).
