"Carnegie has a number of other potential CETO power and water project sites at various stages of development along the southern coast of Australia including: Albany (Western Australia), Port MacDonnell (South Australia), Portland, Warrnambool and Phillip Island in Victoria, and Eden (New South Wales) and internationally, for example in Ireland."

"Mr ALLEN — In relation to Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia we have been moving through a licensing process to licence areas of seabed to undertake investigation activities for wave energy research and then for an essential siting of a commercial demonstration project. We have had experience now across those three jurisdictions, and we are approaching it on a seabed-licensed basis because it is unreserved Crown land in state waters. We require a form of licence to, I suppose, give us investment confidence to undertake non-invasive exploratory activities to ascertain the feasibility of doing a project at a potential site."

Warrnambool Vic and Geraldton WA are another two to add to the list.
