They just don't get it,people making decisions about thinks they haven't got any knowledge about. Under Blight up here in Qld we had a woman minister in charge of water,we were on very strict water restrictions,couldn't wash a car or hose the drive way and were on odds and even days for hand held hoses to water your garden.
The rains came and the Heinz Dam was running about 2 mt deep over the spillway and a request was put to the minister to relax the restrictions while the dam overflowed so people could wash their cars etc.
He educated reply was "We have to save that water for future use " Once the water went over the spillway it is gone as it is only a short distance and it is in the sea. It took three weeks to convince her that she didn't have a clue about what anybody with half a brain could see. Hundreds of thousands of Mega-litres of water was wasted while this minister tried to bluff everybody that she knew what she was doing.
I feel we still have people in the Federal and State level doing jobs they are not qualified for. Clair Voy.
