The general tone I am seeing on this thread leans more to the pessimistic view. When I look at the current chart I think the SP is quite likely to rise from here.

I take the momentum as the most important short term indicator. On the daily chart below it is positive [Blue line above the Red]. On the weekly chart it is still showing negative but if Monday is an UP day then that weekly [very likely] will confirm a positive change in the momentum. [Not possible to see yet how strong that momentum might be, but if it continues for at least a few days then no reason not to see 80 cents in the short term]
