Stock is hitting new TWO YEAR highs. Has not been above $1.00 since late Jan-08.
Packer has held on to his stake despite a massive divestment of his other listed assets over the last 6 months. Anyone who has met the principals of MFG - Hamish Douglass + Chris Mackay - could not fail to be impressed by their experience, knowledge, integrity and committment to the equity investment business.
The stock is finally starting to attract broader attention and as FUM continues to grow, the stock should see ongoing strength.
I am a long term holder of this stock and bought even more recently at 90c.
