A. Government subsidies sufficient to make economically feasible for home owners to install - im guessing $200M to $300M would be required over a few years in order to entice sales and get economies of scale, reduce manufacture cost and sale price and make viable without subsidies.
B. Utilities Company roll outs across Northern Hemisphere to save upgrading existing grid infrastructure.
C. Take over from some visionary like Elon Musk who might see the tech as the ducks guts for night charging of cars at home.

With any luck A, B or C might happen but these are just in my dreams. I dont see jack of any of them happening at the moment
