Hi Wasa.
I can answer your question by asking you a question.
Just for example can you explain to me why a Company like TOE or PEN is trading with a market cap of just over $100 million and AGS is trading at around $70 million?
Valuations are all wacko at the moment. Very little justification for a TOE, PEN, or an AGS.
It's a little bit like the recent Cameco conference call where the Cameco Directors were asked about what was going on in the uranium market with respect to the spot price. They replied by saying that there was many variables at play atm. Everything from the Japan situation through to a number of Banks closing their uranium trading desks resulting in less liquidity in the uranium market. Cameco sounded like they were scratching their head but it hasn't stopped them committing $1.6 billion in future outgoings over what period I can't remember.
Everyone planning for the long term. Yes everything is going great for AGS because of the ppm bro. Four Mile is one sexy beast.
Hey over the last 24 hours I have spoken to two public company Managing Directors and a guy from Treasury from a major major Bank.
Asked them about options lapsing and what might being going on. To be honest I don't think anyone of them knows everything about options and how a potential takeover may have an effect on whether someone may not be able to exercise them or not.
One MD said he just wouldn't buy them because they were not in the money but was going on about just buying them on-market. The other MD said that if you had material information you can't exercise your options. The Treasury guy which is very senior but deals mainly in Bonds or something said something along the lines that you would just get someone else to buy on market for you if you weren't allowed to buy yourself for whatever reason and especially if the options were not in the money.
I'm not suggesting anything like this is going on with AGS.
I'm only posting what I was told by these dudes.
The Treasury guy drives a Porsche and an Aston Martin so he seems like he is doing ok. lol
The Treasury guy did also mention something about the options maybe having some kind of condition on it that the public may not be aware of. So maybe just another one of those confidentiality clauses preventing full disclosure. Who knows.
Once again for the record I'm not suggesting anyone is buying any shares on-market that may or may not be subject to a blackout period. I am clueless.
