The lies that so many gullible followers of the MSM actually believed !
Really displays the lack of objectivity, lateral vision and honesty of many of the useful idiots that fell victim of the Democrat's lies which were initiated by the Clintons.

Watergate reporter Bob Woodwardrevealed in a new interview how Washington Post reporters were overtaken by theexcitement of Russiagate investigations and failed to heed his warnings aboutChristopher Steele's notorious dossier on Donald Trump.
The result, hesaid, was that readers were 'cheated' by the coverage of Trump's ties toRussia.
He made hiscomments in a lengthy investigation into the media handling of the biggeststory of the Trump presidency.
'Bob Woodward, ofthe Post, told me that news coverage of the Russia inquiry"wasn't handled well" and that he thought viewers and readers hadbeen "cheated,"' wrote Jeff Gerth for the Columbia Journalism Review.
'He urged newsroomsto "walk down the painful road of introspection."'

He singled out theway the media covered Steele's dossier as an example of failings.
The dossier was acollection of allegations collected by the former MI6 document from sources ineastern Europe.
They ranged fromdetails of alleged cooperation between the 2016 Trump campaign and Moscow, tolurid claims about Trump and Russian prostitutes.

The work was fundedby the Clinton campaign and became an open secret in Washington circles by theend of 2016, before Buzzfeed News published it in full in January 2017.
That gave othermedia organizations cover to follow suit.
On Jan. 15,Woodward appeared on Fox News and described the dossier as 'garbage.'
Since then keydetails have been debunked, although U.S. intelligence community share itsbroad assessment that Moscow intervened in the 2016 election to help Trump.
Woodward later toldGerth that he had spoken to Post journalists only to find they were notinterested in hearing more about his concerns.

'To be honest, there was a lack of curiosity on the part of the people at the Post about whatI had said, why I said this, and I accepted that and I didn't force it onanyone,' he told Gerth.
Then there was abombshell New York Times story, claiming that Russian intelligence was in touchwith members of the Trump campaign.
The story describedSteele as having a 'credible track record' and claimed that the FBI was chasingdown his sources.
In fact, writesGerth, the FBI had interviewed the former spy's 'primary' source, who saidSteele had exaggerated or misstated details and that his own information wasbased on 'rumor and speculation,' according to notes released later.
None of that mattered,as the FBI at the time stayed silent.
The Times story hadtriggered a frenzy, with other news outlets producing their own stories aboutTrump campaign officials in contact with Russians known to USintelligence.
'It's kind of likethe Watergate burglary,' Woodward told Gerth, helping 'launch the issue.'
