Quick simple and elegant modern strawberries trifle:

i've been making trifle since i was young!

when i visit / live in england, i have a large trifle most days

and i not fat!

Make strawberry jelly with ‘lots’ of water and white wine and allow to set in the fridge!

In a glass bowl place:

A layer of sponge cake, bought from the supermarket, broken into pieces, with a sprinkling of sherry and ginger ale

A layer of the set jelly slightly broken up slightly

A layer of ½ strawberries diced, mixed with ½ the strawberries blended in the blender

A layer of ½ bought custard ¼ cream and ¼ milk mixed together

A layer of whipped cream on top

Refrigerate for a while
