It was good to see Destra mentioned in the weekend Fin. Rev. along side Telstra and NineMSN for online music in Australia (Although probably the only three sources), Destra's CEO Mr Carosa said online sale totaled only .5% of all music sales in Australia compared to the average 3% for the rest of the world.
It seems Apples ITunes Store has either been blocked from opening here in Australia - currently in US, UK, France and Germany (I think). Chances are TLS or 9MSN have stopped ITunes from opening here due to the smaller market, iTunes accounts for 70% of all online music purchases.
Outside of being blocked it is possible that Destra, 9MSN or TLS are setting up a deal with Apple for the sale of music in Australia....... I guess we'll have to wait and see.
