Where are the fit for purpose quarantine facilities the the Federal Government should already have in place. Outbreaks of Covid from Howard Springs, zero. Morrison made sure he got the jab early and not AZ with the 3 month wait between jabs either.
Shameless mismanagement again by the Federal Government forcing States to do quaratining at hotels when it was clear they were unsuitable.
Morrison booby trapped quantining for the states and then stuffed up the vaccine rollout. What choice do the States have while they are hamstrung by Morrison and his freakshow. Or would you prefer us to have an even bigger number of cases, swamp our health system and have the deaths that would result from that situation?
It's a tricky balancing act for State Governments, that's certainly not made any easier by having a Federal Government that has failed to meet any reasonable expectation including poo pooing the idea of building fit for purpose quarantine facilities for a year before doing a backflip.
IMO this is the most inept, clueless, selfserving, fictional narrative creating Federal Government in living Memory.
My heart goes out to those doing it tough, but to lay blame at the feet of the states is simplistic. The virus is an import, quarantining is the responsability of the Federal Government and the States should not have had to use hotels. Morrisons has never been thinking straight IMO, he's has never been a good option for P.M. and the Federal Liberals have proven themselves unfit to be the Federal Government and their coalition partners are in the same bucket.
