When has Morrison really stepped up? Never. What choice did the states have, it was either they did it or it would me another Morrison debacle like Robodebt and not having enough vaccine options early on.
Nobody has done a perfect job but the states have done the best they could given the compromised position Morrison put them in. Nobody stopped Morrison from backing the construction of fit for purpose quarantine facilities in the eastern states early on as insurance but himself, nobody stopped Morrison working out a way to get more Australians back home earlier but himself and nobody stopped him backing more vaccine otpions early but himself.
The States have done their best to fill the gaping void that the Federal Government should made sure wasn't there but this is where we are. It seems irrattional to blame the States when they were basically set up by the Federal Government. Somebody clear thinking like Kevin Rudd would have been ahead of this, instead we have Morrison who fumbles along until something bites him.
Sad that you don't seem to be able to trace the situation back to the root cause. I don't believe that's something to ROFL about but you can knock yourself out if it makes you feel better.
