    I'd also put it down to constant whining by the Left of Labor about racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamaphobia etc.

    The public don't like being lectured on issues like this.

    Where was Labor's plan to get power prices down to acceptable levels or create more jobs ?

    The Libs went pretty squarely at hip pocket issues , even though their actual performance on the economy , wages and the cost of living has been dismal.

    As someone who voted Labor and hoped they would win I was disappointed at their campaign , they should have concentrated more on mainstream issues.

    First think they should do is tell Kristina Keneally to "put a sock in it" (thank you Alan Jones) when it comes to side issues like refugees which few care about and start talking about the economy and services that we all use.
