    It is inappropriate to compare BV between a resource company and a property developer / trust. A resource company can create value many times over by discovering and mining an economical mineral deposit. Goodman has no such ability. The NTA of the trust component should remain stable given asset prices are not rising. The development arm can create value but industrial property is in terminal decline because of the global recession. There is total mismatch between the ability to generate growth and massive gearing they have built up over the years and that is the problem.
