Great post and always good to have flexibility in your outcomes. And truth be known, we can stuff up every forecast we make, but get 9/10 trades, i think its clear whats more important in the end.
Take it from me, i was locking in lows for BHP at 36 and 34, but man enough to use stops and admit defeat, then patiently wait for entries. I had July and Sept as the lows on SPI, but stood aside and am still waiting for my worst case scenario to play out, still managing to have soem cracker trades along the way.
In all my years trading, the one golden rule that never fails me is "know your risk and use stops". Many dont but when they do, there trading mentality will change forever.
