Trials are generally spread across geographic locations to remove any possible anomalies.
ie. people of European decent are more resistant to a particulate bacteria.
But yes you are right, the European Phase 3 trials are to be used as part of the future FDA Phase 3 trials...at least that is the plan by Prima.
