I share the same sentiment as you too!
There were many changes made to my DIY COMSEC trading account - I was toggling between Buy, Sell, Hold, ouch!

Great thing, I flushed the sell order for good AFTER receiving the AUD$0.15/share bonus in cheque!!!!

Hmm, I am holding a little bit more.

But Bank/Analyst recommendations doesn't tickle me!
Most of the time, their tactic is - Ask you to buy on one hand, and as quickly , their other hand is SELLING just as swiftly!

Remember what the book said, by that great lady OZ who was a bank manager all her life - I still remember the title of that book - "Banks are Bastards". Don't meant to be rude!!!!!! But they have a job to sell something. We have a job to PRESERVE our capital, mate!

We should have been doing the BUYING looooooooong ago, during the times of uncertainty!

That calls for balls of titanium, which I personally don't have!!!!
