i can tell you its not Talbot selling. As a substantial holder he needs to notify the asx.

imo the SDL shares price is nothing out of the ordinary, its fluctuating in the market as its always done, its a traders delight and the data shows just that.

For the month of August
Commsec accounted for 139mil traded for a net change of -2mil shares
D2MX (trader dealer etc) accounted for 40mil traded for +2mil shares

For the month of September
Commsec accounted for 90mil traded for a net change of +9mil
D2MX accounted for 30mil traded for a net change of -2mil


As for sellers
Patersons have been the big seller, they have also been selling down FML, they are underwriting a $100mil deal for AXM of which they would need to cover up to $50mil.
They have sold down over 17mil shares in September alone and a further 8 mil in August. Hartley also sold down 8mil shares in august.
