developing courage in a speculative market , page-9

Hi ddzx I think it is very hard to develope courage in a speculative market.Even if you do have courage you still should never be overconfident.For one thing a spec is what it is... speculative.In some ways it is like walking around with a metal detector hoping to find something not knowing if you will or will not.What Chubbito said is correct "also there is some good money to be made in up and coming industrial stocks - small ones - many have doubled and more in the past year"
I have been doing lists here and there of small companies over the last 2 years and many people have been laughing at them.Some of the companies such as CAJ,TTI,MWR,EBT have more than doubled.I don't really want to know about companies that I can not ascertain a value on because I find it hard to invest in them as it is speculation.
